About This Call
The Louisiana Percent for Art Program invites select artists to submit existing or proposed artworks for consideration at Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) in Winnsboro, LA. Selected artworks will transform a prominent blank interior wall within the newly expanded campus into a vibrant, joyful, and inclusive reflection of the people who use it: students, educators, and community members. The work will help create a welcoming environment that reflects LDCC's values, education, opportunity, and community connection.
This call is invitational and limited to artists recommended by the Selection Committee. Each artist may submit up to three (3) works for consideration. Submissions may include completed pieces ready for acquisition that are framed (if applicable) and prepared for hanging in public spaces, or proposals for new works (concepts, rough sketches, or renderings are acceptable).
Required materials for each submission: artist bio (150-300 words), high-resolution image of completed or proposed artwork, title, year, medium, dimensions, price, and a short description or narrative, and a condition report confirming that the work is in good condition and noting any special handling or conservation requirements. This call is open to professional artists 18 and over, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender identification, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical ability. Entry deadline: 12/3/25 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
