Call for Art- JUST ADD WATER

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibit titled JUST ADD WATER. The theme centers on water in all its forms—oceans, rain, rivers, puddles, or hints of blue—and how it connects to feeling, memory, and transformation.

JPEGs are due by Friday, June 5, 2026, at midnight MST. Accepted artists will be notified by Friday, July 2, 2026, and all accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). Entry fees are $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots can be sent by email to [email protected] without additional fees.

This call is open to amateur and professional artists worldwide. Work copied or done under instructor guidance is not eligible. All fine art mediums are accepted (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, digital art), but AI-generated work will not be accepted. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image. Images must be in JPEG/JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Video formats accepted include MOV, MP4, and WMV with specific technical requirements. Selection is by director's choice, curated by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill and an anonymous committee of jurors. Artists receive 100% of sales for any artwork sold. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to arts organizations and artist support initiatives.
