About This Call
April brings the green of new growth. It also brings envy, money, luck, excess, renewal, inexperience, and that restless momentum that comes with the season. For our April First Friday, Magpie Artspace is inviting artists to respond to GREEN. We’re open to interpretation and to medium. Painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, installation. Landscapes are welcome, but we’re looking for work with a contemporary point of view. Shift the perspective. Push the composition. Give us green that feels current, layered, and alive.
