Observed in October, Filipino American History Month recognizes the longstanding presence and contributions of Filipino Americans in the United States. Commemorating the first recorded arrival of Filipinos in 1587, we remember the generations of Filipinos whose lasting impact have profoundly shaped America’s history, culture, and communities. We invite artists across Indiana to submit new/existing work that conveys the complexity and resilience of our experience.
