Call for Art: 350

350 invites Michigan artists to imagine the world one hundred years from now. What might life look like in 2126? Artists are encouraged to explore the future through many lenses — human experience, culture, environment, identity, and the ways we live, connect, and create. Visions may be hopeful, reflective, cautionary, gloomy, playful, or poetic. Consider the evolution of cities and landscapes, the role of technology, shifts in lifestyle and community, or the enduring elements of humanity that transcend time. The future may be imagined through realism or abstraction, symbolism or narrative, subtle suggestion or bold speculation.

350 is not just about predicting what will be — it is also about revealing what we value now, and how today's dreams, concerns, and innovations shape tomorrow's possibilities. All mediums are welcome, including painting, sculpture, fiber, photography, digital media, and mixed media. Artists of all career stages are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility: Open to Michigan artists 18 years and older. Works must be 60" at their greatest dimension and up to 50lb (email or call to inquire about exceptions). Works must have been created and completed within the last three years and must arrive assembled and stable. Diptychs and triptychs are allowed but submitted and priced as one piece. Entry fee: $30. Submission deadline: March 23, 2026. Exhibition dates: May 1 - May 30, 2026 at Crooked Tree Arts Center, Traverse City. Notification: March 27, 2026. Artists are responsible for transporting work to and from the gallery. Work must be delivered April 13-18, 2026. Unsold artwork must be picked up June 1-6, 2026.
