About This Call
The California Coast exhibition runs May 1 – August 26, 2012 at the California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill in San Marino, CA. The exhibition accepts paintings of the California coastline, including beach scenes, marinas, coastal towns, and sailing in the Pacific. Accepted mediums are oil, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic.
Eligibility is limited to CAC Signature, Artist, Out-of-State, and Mentor Program Members. Entry fee is $35 for the first image and $10 for each additional image (maximum 6 images). The application deadline is Monday, April 2, 2012. Artwork drop-off is Monday, April 30, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Out-of-town shipments must be delivered by Friday, April 27, 2012 to Box and Ship, 319 S Arroyo Pkwy, Ste 1, Pasadena, CA 91105. Artists are responsible for crating and shipping costs.
The artists' reception is Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Artwork pick-up is Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Commission split is 60% Artist, 20% Old Mill, 20% CAC. For questions, contact the California Art Club at 626/583-9009.
