CAL Spring 2022 Judged Show

CAL's Spring 2022 Judged Show is a virtual exhibition held on the Call for Entry website. Artists must upload images of their artwork for online judging. Entry dates run from January 17, 2022 through March 27, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Awards will be announced at CAL's General Meeting on April 9, 2022.

Winners in the following categories are qualified to compete in the Summer 2022 Lone Star Art Guild Convention Show and are invited to exhibit in the CAL gallery in July 2022: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, 1st Honorable Mention, Best of Show, Best Landscape, Best Floral, and Best Student. Cash awards will be given to Best of Show, Best Floral, Best Landscape, and Best Student; amounts are determined by the number of entries. The judge is Doug Hiser.

Entry fees are $15 per entry for artists over 18 years old. School students up to age 18 enter free with coupon codes (STUFIRST for the first piece, STU2ND for the second piece). Maximum 3 pieces per artist per category; maximum 20 pieces total per artist. Artists must designate one division (Professional, Semi-Professional, Non-Professional, Adult Student, High School Student, Middle School Student, or Elementary School Student) and may enter multiple artworks in multiple categories within that division. Categories include Oil/Acrylic, Watercolor/Acrylic, Pastels, Drawing, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital Art, Abstract/Experimental/Non-Objective, Sculpture, and Studio Fine Crafts.
