CAL National 2022

The Conroe Art League invites artists, both national and international, to enter original 2D and 3D artwork in this juried competition. Juror Megan Olivia Ebel will select eligible artworks to exhibit in the show in March 2022 and compete for awards totaling $5,500. The entry deadline is December 17, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Entry fee is $35.00 for the first image submission and $15.00 for each additional image, with a maximum of six images. Artists must submit 1-6 images of original artwork completed on or after January 1, 2019. Artwork must be created solely by the artist (age 18+) and cannot be a collaboration, Giclée print, or previous award winner in a CAL national show. Two-dimensional artwork has a maximum size of 48"W x 72"H (including frame) and cannot exceed 30 lbs. Three-dimensional artwork has a maximum size of 30"W x 30"D x 48"H and cannot exceed 40 lbs.

Awards: 1st Place $2,500, 2nd Place $1,250, 3rd Place $1,000, 4th Place $750. Judge's online review occurs December 18-31, 2021. Finalists will be notified by January 15, 2022. Eligible artworks must arrive at CAL by February 26, 2022 and will exhibit from March 1 to April 2, 2022. The artists' reception and awards announcement is Saturday, March 5, 2022, 6-8 PM. CAL retains a 20% commission on any artwork sold during the exhibition. Return shipping begins April 1, 2022, with pickup deadline of April 5, 2022.
