CAL International 2025

CAL International 2025 is a juried art competition hosted by the Conroe Art League, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. The exhibition will be held at The Madeley Fine Art Gallery, located at 127 Simonton Street, Conroe, TX. The juror is Zaeed Kala. Entry deadline is December 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fee is $35.00 for the first image submission and $15.00 for each additional image (minimum 1, maximum 6 images per entry). Eligible artwork will be notified by January 17, 2025, and must arrive at CAL no later than March 3, 2025. The exhibition runs from March 5 to March 31, 2025, with an artists' reception and awards announcement on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Awards include: 1st Place $2,500, 2nd Place $1,250, 3rd Place $1,000, and 4th Place $750. Artwork must be original and solely created by the artist with no collaboration or use of artificial intelligence. Work must be less than five years old and adhere to community standards (no nudity, graphic nudity, obscenity, or violence). Two-dimensional artwork maximum size is 48"W X 72"H (including frame) and not to exceed 30lbs. Three-dimensional artwork maximum size is 30"W X 30"D X 48"H and not to exceed 40lbs. All 2D artwork must be ready to hang with gallery wire on the back.

Artists may deliver artwork in person or ship it to the gallery address. Return shipping must be prepaid with shipping paperwork enclosed. Return shipping begins April 1, 2025. Artwork not picked up by April 4, 2025 or personally delivered artwork without prepaid return shipping arrangements not picked up by April 5, 2025 will incur storage fees. If artwork is sold during the exhibition, CAL retains 20% of the stated price. CAL reserves the right to reproduce submitted artwork images for publicity purposes.
