CAL Fall 2025 Judged Show

CAL Fall 2025 Virtual Judged Show is sponsored by Conroe Art League (CAL), a member of the Lone Star Art Guild (LSAG). The competition is open to artists in Texas. Artists do not have to be members to enter, though membership in Conroe Art League or another LSAG league is required to enter eligible artwork in the LSAG 2026 Annual Show.

Registration opens July 7, 2025 and closes September 14, 2025. Awards will be announced October 4, 2025 at the CAL General Meeting. Entry fees are $20 per artwork for adult artists (over 18) with no maximum number of entries. Student artists (18 and under) may submit up to 3 entries free with coupon codes (STU1ST, STU2ND). An additional $20 media fee applies per artwork. All entries must be submitted through CaFE (www.callforentry.org) with images in JPEG or JPG format, minimum 1,200 pixels on the longest side, and under 5 MB file size. Artists may submit 1-20 images total.

Judging will be conducted online by Susan Sheets. Cash awards are given for Best of Show, Best Floral, Best Landscape, and Best Student based on the number of paid entries. Winners in the categories of First Place, Second Place, Third Place, First Honorable Mention, Best of Show, Best Landscape, Best Floral, and Best Student are eligible for the LSAG Annual Show. Winning adult CAL members may display their work in the CAL Gallery in November 2025 with no hanging fee, though one docent shift per artwork is required. Artists must select from 12 categories: Oil/Acrylic, Watercolor/Acrylic, Pastels, Drawing/Printmaking, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital Art, Abstract/Non-Objective, Sculpture, Fiber Arts, Jewelry, and Glass. Artists are divided into five divisions based on experience level: Accomplished, Established, Emerging, Novice, and Youth (elementary, middle school, and high school).
