CAL Fall 2022 Judged Show

CAL's Fall 2022 Judged Show is a virtual show held on the CaFE (Call for Entry) website. Entry dates are August 28 through October 17, 2022. Artists must upload an image of each artwork to the show, with judging conducted online by Linda Dumas (Dumasarts.com). Awards will be announced at the General Meeting on November 5, 2022.

This show is open to artists living in the southeast Texas region who are Conroe Art League members or another LSAG league member, or to those interested in becoming members. You do not have to be a member of an LSAG league to enter. This is CAL's only qualifying show to compete for the LSAG 2023 Convention. Winners in the categories of 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, 1st Honorable Mention, Best of Show, Best Landscape, Best Floral, and Best Student are qualified to compete in the Summer 2023 LSAG Convention Show. Active Adult Regular Members of CAL who win are invited to hang in the CAL gallery in December 2022 with no hanging fee and one docent shift per artwork. The Best of Show winner receives a free 1-year membership to CAL.

Entry fee is $15 per artwork for artists over 18; school students 18 and under enter free with coupon codes (STUFIRST for first entry, STU2ND for second entry). Artists may enter up to 3 pieces per category with an overall maximum of 20 artworks. Artwork must be original, completed on or after March 2020, and comply with size requirements: 2-D art may not exceed 48 inches wide or 30 pounds; 3-D art maximum 30 inches wide by 30 inches deep by 48 inches high and 40 pounds maximum.
