About This Call
CAGLIOSTRO FOREVER is an immersive DIY art exhibition presented by The C.O.I.N. and Sanctuary Detroit. The exhibition will take place March 6th and 7th, 2026, in a transformed historic Detroit church gallery space.
This call is open to US-based artists, 18 years or older, with recent dark artwork (within the last 3 years) in any medium or subject matter, as long as it is legal. Submissions must be original designs executed by the artist; collaborations are accepted. AI-generated art is not allowed. A maximum of 3 pieces per artist are allowed. The $15 registration fee does not guarantee acceptance. Submissions must be made online by February 2nd, 2026, by 11:59 PM. Artists will be notified of accepted works via email on or after February 6th, 2026.
Accepted artists are admitted to the exhibition at no charge and may bring a guest to both days. Attendance is not required. Artwork can be priced at any amount (whole-dollar amounts only). Artists receive 80% of the sale price; The C.O.I.N. retains 20%. Payment for sold work will be sent within 30 days after the close of the event. Not-for-sale work will be considered. For 2-D hand-delivered art, maximum dimensions are 60" W x 108" H, 40 lbs. For 3-D hand-delivered art, maximum dimensions are 72" H x 30" W x 30" D. For shipped art, 2-D maximum is 40" W x 40" H, 40 lbs; 3-D maximum is 30" W x 30" D x 40" H, 40 lbs. Other sizes may be considered upon request. Installations and performance art submissions are reviewed individually; email proposals including a contact phone number to [email protected]. Submit high-quality images (maximum 10MB per file).
