About This Call
CaFÉ DEMO is an online juried exhibition open to artists of all styles, backgrounds, and mediums. The virtual exhibition will be held on the platform's website from May 1-31, 2024, with artwork available for sale. Artists must be U.S. residents and at least 18 years old at the time of submission.
Entry fees are $10 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece, with a maximum of 4 pieces per artist. Member entry fee is $7 for the first piece. Submissions must include high-quality JPEG images (1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB, sRGB color profile), an artist statement (maximum 2,000 characters), and a headshot. The submission period is February 5 - March 31, 2024, with jury results announced April 15, 2024.
Accepted artists receive exposure on the platform accessed by curators, collectors, and critics (15,000 weekly page views), a featured blog post interview shared in the monthly newsletter, dedicated social media posts to 25,000 combined followers, and 8 weeks of promotion via social media and website ads. Monetary prizes are awarded: 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $75, 3rd Place $50. Sales are conducted through the gallery with a 10% commission retained by the gallery.
