About This Call
CACE (Center for Art and Community Enrichment) Gallery of Fine Art is a privately funded initiative of Morgan Community College. Now in its thirteenth year, the Gallery hosts juried art exhibits featuring local, regional and national artists. The Gallery is located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan, Colorado, and is open to the public Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with extended hours on scheduled Third Thursday Art Walks, artist receptions, and other special occasions.
Both 2D and 3D original artwork are acceptable, including painting, photography, fiber, charcoal, pastel, ceramic, clay, printmaking, pen & ink, glass, pottery, metals and mixed media. Art objects must be of original concept and design, created within the last five years, and not created in instructional settings. For canvas items, maximum size is 2000 square inches (unframed). Two-dimensional pieces must be framed and wired, ready for hanging. Artists may designate items as either for sale (with price) or NFS. The Gallery retains 10% of artwork sales for maintenance and exhibit promotions; artists receive 90% of the sale price.
Applications require a $25 entry fee and six to ten images (minimum 1200 pixels on longest side, maximum 5 megabytes file size). Artists must be currently living in the United States. The entry deadline is April 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Selected artists will be notified before the end of May 2025. Exhibits are solo shows featuring 25-35 pieces depending on sizes. Artists are expected to attend the opening reception and make a brief presentation about their work. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of all items exhibited, including all packing and shipping costs if required.
