CACE Gallery of Fine Art

The Morgan Community College Center for Arts and Community Enrichment (CACE) Gallery of Fine Art is located in a historic building in downtown Fort Morgan, Colorado. The Gallery opened in 2012 and has hosted juried art exhibits from local, regional, and national artists. Most exhibits remain on display for four to five weeks. The Gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, with extended hours until 7:00 PM on Fridays. Many items are available for sale, and the Gallery retains 10% of sales to support maintenance and operations.

Artists may submit 10-20 images of original artwork created within the last five years. Canvas pieces must not exceed 1200 square inches (unframed). Two-dimensional pieces must be framed and wired, ready for hanging. Artists must currently be living in the United States. The entry fee is $25.00. Electronic applications are accepted through April 1, 2019, with images between 1400 and 4000 pixels at the largest dimension. Selected artists will be notified before the end of April 2019.

Artists retain copyright to their work, though CACE may photograph exhibited items for promotional materials. Artists may designate items as for sale (with price) or NFS (not for sale). A 10% support fee is deducted from the sale price of any sold items. Artists are required to deliver and pick up all exhibited items. Most exhibits begin on a Friday evening with an opening reception where artists are invited to make a brief presentation. Exhibition dates are agreed upon between the Gallery and artist, and both parties enter into a formal agreement.
