About This Call
CACE (Center for Art and Community Enrichment) Gallery of Fine Art is a privately funded initiative of Morgan Community College. Now in its thirteenth year, the Gallery hosts juried art exhibits featuring local, regional and national artists. The Gallery is located at 300 Main Street, Fort Morgan, Colorado, and is open to the public Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with extended hours on scheduled Third Thursday Art Walks, artist receptions, and other special occasions.
Exhibits are solo shows featuring 25-35 pieces depending on the sizes of each. Both 2D and 3D original artwork is acceptable in all mediums including painting, photography, fiber, charcoal, pastel, ceramic, clay, printmaking, pen & ink, glass, pottery, metals and mixed media. Artwork must be of original concept and design, created within the last five years, and not from instructional settings. 2D pieces must not exceed 2000 square inches (unframed) and must be framed and wired, ready for hanging. Artists must currently be living in the United States.
The application fee is $25. Submissions require six images representing the artist's work, an artist's statement, and a 300 dpi headshot for marketing materials. Artists selected for exhibits will be notified before the end of April 2026. The artist receives 90% of artwork sales; the Gallery retains 10% for maintenance and exhibit promotions. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of all items exhibited, including shipping costs if required. Artists are expected to attend the reception given in their honor and may present a workshop and hands-on experience for participants if desired. Electronic applications are accepted through April 1, 2026.
