By Land or Sea - Juried Group Exhibition

By Land or Sea is an open call for all mediums and styles featuring seascapes, landscapes, cityscapes, skyscapes, and all related subjects. The exhibition is open to artists from all locations and career levels.

ShockBoxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach is seeking submissions for a juried group exhibition opening at the end of September 2023. Top artist submissions will receive featured wall space and inclusion on Artsy. Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, composition, and overall artistic ability.

Entry fee is $25 for a single image entry, with additional images available at $5 each (up to 8 images total). Video and audio uploads are also available. Submissions must include a minimum of 1 work sample and a maximum of 8 total samples (images, video, or audio combined). Selected exhibiting artists will be announced in late August via email. The exhibition will be featured on Artsy, presented via a Zoom opening, and displayed in the physical gallery space. If selected, artists will receive details via email regarding delivery of work to the gallery for the late September show.
