About This Call
Purple Window Gallery presents “Bunnies & Bruised Knees” an open call on artworks encapsulating the triumphs and tribulations of girlhood. The submergence of womanhood is multi-faceted and complex. Experiencing girlhood is ambiguous and ever changing, whether through a non-binary, trans, or cis-gender lens, the avenues of expression are limitless. This exhibition will explore ways girlhood is experienced, challenged, romanticized- and everything in between.
