About This Call
The Brownwood Arts & Crafts Festival is a two-day juried event hosted by The Villages Entertainment at Brownwood Paddock Square. The festival features handmade work from local artisans, food trucks, and live entertainment. Show hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm, with setup on Saturday. Public admission is free with daytime parking available.
Applications are juried on a rolling basis in the order received. Booth spaces are available in 10x10 ($400) and 10x20 ($800, limited availability) configurations. A $15 non-refundable jury fee is required to apply. Applicants must submit 4 images of their work, 1 image of a 10x10 outdoor display with a white canopy tent, and an artist biography or website. Once invited, the full booth fee balance must be paid by March 1, 2026 at 12pm EST; a $30 late fee applies to payments after this deadline. Applications submitted within 30 days of the show also incur a $30 late fee.
Encouraged mediums include candles, ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal art, mixed media, paintings, photography, resin, sculpture, and wood. Artwork must be original and handcrafted by the approved artist. Limited quantities of offset prints, giclées, and reproduced work are permitted if clearly labeled. Only one medium per booth is allowed. Displays must be professional with white tents manufactured with flame-retardant materials and secured with 25 lb. weights per tent leg. Staking into the ground is prohibited. Booth displays must match submitted images; any changes require prior approval. Exhibitors must keep their spaces clean and are responsible for their own trash removal. $1,000,000 liability insurance with product liability coverage is required, with The Villages Entertainment listed as additional insured. All work must remain within assigned exhibitor space. Cancellations require written notice at least 45 days prior to receive a credit valid for 1 year toward future events; jury fees are non-refundable. No rain dates or refunds are issued under the rain or shine policy, though credits are given for force majeure events.
