About This Call
Delfina Foundation announces an open call for the Brooks International Fellowship Programme, now in its twelfth year. The programme is open to international practitioners based outside of the UK. Fellows will be hosted in the Tate Modern Curatorial Division at Tate for six months in 2026, complemented by a residency at Delfina Foundation in London.
The fellowship provides a living allowance bursary of £40 per day. Fellows will undertake research providing a critical reassessment of classical modernist histories of Tate's international collection, with focus on two groups of artworks addressing: 1) gender and queer ecologies; and 2) ecology of migrating identities. The programme is open to practitioners working in Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture.
Fully funded Brooks International Fellowships are made possible by the generous support of the Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Foundation. Submission deadline: January 8, 2026.
