ColoradoArtShows.com continues the Broadmoor Traditions Fine Art Festival at The Colorado Springs School in Colorado Springs' affluent Broadmoor neighborhood. This distinguished community, anchored by The Broadmoor Hotel—a landmark luxury resort established in the early 1900s—provides an ideal setting for a fine art festival. The neighborhood attracts affluent, educated professionals and successful executives, creating a refined, discerning audience for upscale fine art.
The festival accepts all forms of original fine art and fine crafts including Painting, Sculpture, Metal, Glass, Printmaking/Drawing, Ceramics, Mixed Media, Jewelry, Wood, Fiber and Photography. Only originals and signed & numbered limited edition prints are allowed (this applies to photographers as well). Artists must be present to exhibit and display only their own original work. No buy/sell or representatives are permitted, and only white tents are allowed.
Application requires 4 digital images of work and 1 booth display image. The application fee is $55 per category (non-refundable). Booth fees range from $595 for a single 10x10 space to $1,470 for a double 10x20 with 2 corners. All spaces are outside on grass with no electricity available. The jury process typically receives 150 applications and selects approximately 90 artists, with applications scored by 4 jurors on a 1-10 scale.
