About This Call
Las Laguna Gallery is accepting submissions of artwork commemorating or inspired by Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday celebrating the lives of deceased loved ones. There are no restrictions on content, style, medium, or context, but entries should fit this theme in some way, either traditionally or digitally.
Artists of all ages and experience levels—local, national, and international—are encouraged to submit. Acceptable sizes have no limitation, though pieces over 48" are noted as costly for shipping. Submissions should include 1-15 images. Entry fee is $35.00, with an additional $2.00 per extra image beyond the first.
