About This Call
Bring Us Your Dead - Dia de los Muertos is an exhibition celebrating the Mexican holiday of Day of the Dead. Works related to the theme of Dia de los Muertos will be considered from all local, national, and international artists, both professional and amateur.
All art mediums are accepted, including photography, fabric, mixed media, paintings, and drawings (oil, acrylic, ink, graphite, pastels, etc.). Work must be able to be hung on a wall and sizes up to 4 feet (48 inches maximum) are acceptable. No work requiring special installation or instructions will be accepted.
Entry fee is $35.00 for the first image, with an additional $5.00 media fee per sample over the minimum. Artists may submit 1-20 images. Entry deadline is October 18, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artist notification is October 19, with art delivery dates from October 19-31. The exhibition opens with a reception on Thursday, October 6th and runs from November 2-29, 2014.
