The Bridgehampton Art Affair takes place on the lawns of the Bridgehampton Museum over Labor Day Weekend. Situated along Montauk Highway, the venue is highly visible to all motorists traveling through the Hamptons. The Bridgehampton Museum has a long-standing history as a host of the Art Market, making it a recognized site for fine art events. Ample parking is available for both patrons and artists, including overnight options on the premises. The three-day event features a convenient Friday set up.
This competitive outdoor art fair is limited to the number of exhibitors accepted by a jury of highly qualified, talented, experienced artists. The jury meets weekly and applications are processed in order of date received. Show hours are Friday 12pm-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm. Spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 available with approved double booth image). Public admission is free with no gate fee.
Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. Application requirements include 3 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, and biography or website. The jury fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) and booth fee is $620.00. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved individual artist. The artist must be present throughout the event to engage with patrons.
