About This Call
This established show of 42 years has consistently been one of the top shows in the country and was ranked #28 in Sunshine Artists Magazine's top 200 Fine Art Shows for 2019. It is held in Historic Breckenridge which was voted the 3rd most beautiful small town in America. The show will be limited to approximately 110 fine artists and craftsmen chosen from around the country. The town is an old gold mining town established in the late 1800's, now a major ski area with many restaurants and unique shops located in Summit County just 80 miles from Denver in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
The demographic is a highly affluent crowd made up of locals, second homeowners, front range visitors and people from all around the country. Vail and Beaver Creek are also a short 30 minute drive away. The festival will be held July 3, 4, 5 (Thursday-Saturday) from 10AM-5PM each day at Main Street Station and the Village at Breckenridge at the south end of town. Both plazas will be used with approximately 55 artists each, and the Village Plaza level will have free electricity.
Accepted categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing/printmaking, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, metal, painting, photography, sculpture, and wood. Artists must submit four images of current work and one booth image. Entry fee is $35 (non-refundable), with booth fees ranging from $550 for a single 10x10 booth to $1100 for a double 10x20 booth. Artists retain all proceeds from sales and are responsible for collecting sales tax. Professional white tents and displays are required, with minimum 40lbs per leg weighting. Artists must be present for the entirety of the event and exhibit only their own original work.
