About This Call
The Breckenridge August Fine Art Festival is an established show in its 25th year, limited to approximately 115 artists and craftspeople from around the country. Ranked #66 in Sunshine Artists Magazine's top 100 best Fine Art Shows for 2024, the festival is held in Main Street Station and The Village at Breckenridge in the historic town of Breckenridge, Colorado, located 80 miles west of Denver in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
The festival runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, August 6-8, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. Booth spaces range from 10x10 ($550) to 10x20 ($1,100), with limited 10x15 spaces ($825) available. Corner spaces are available for an additional $100 fee. All booths must feature white tents, professional displays, and tablecloths extending to the ground. The Village at Breckenridge area offers free electricity; Main Street Station has no electricity. Artists must provide their own properly weighted booths (minimum 40 lbs per leg). Setup occurs on Wednesday with times assigned two weeks prior to the show. There is no gate fee.
Accepted categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing/printmaking, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, metal, photography, painting, sculpture, wood, and other. All work must be original in concept, design, and execution. The festival does not accept manufactured items, mass-produced goods, items cast from commercial molds, resale items, or country crafts. Artists must be present for the entire event; representatives are not permitted. At least 50% of wall space must be occupied by original work. The application fee is $35 (non-refundable), with registration and fees due by May 1, 2026. Full refunds are available until May 15, 2026; partial refunds (half booth fee) until May 31, 2026. Artists retain all sales proceeds and are responsible for collecting and submitting sales tax to the Town of Breckenridge and the State of Colorado. Notification of acceptance will be sent by April 15, 2026.
