Breaking Boundaries: Excellence in Pastel

This is an online exhibition for pastel artists. Paintings must be at least 80% dry pastel (no oil pastels). There is no size limitation. Artwork must be original, completed within the last five years, and not previously exhibited in an APS International or Member Exhibition. Work must not have been done under supervision or copied from other artists, publications, or photos without permission.

Entry fees are $40 for 2 entries for APS Members ($10 for each additional entry) and $45 for 2 entries for non-members ($10 for each additional entry). Maximum of 4 entries per artist. APS Membership is not required, but members will receive Special Membership points toward Signature Status if current for the year the show occurs. Payment is online and non-refundable. All entries must have a sale price or be marked not for sale (NFS); works marked POR will not be accepted.

Cash and prize awards include First Place ($2000), Second Place ($1500), Third Place ($1000), Exceptional Merit Awards, and Honorable Mention Awards. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1920 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Catalog information will be produced directly from your entry as typed, including spelling, price, and capitalization. Entries must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline.
