Brand 43 Works on Paper Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Brand Library Art Gallery in Glendale, California is announcing its 43rd Annual Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper. Awards total over $4,000 in cash, with one purchase award, plus inclusion in printed catalog. The juror is Kent Twitchell, a muralist and grand scale artist whose larger-than-life portraits are iconic in Los Angeles and beyond.

Media: Any work on paper including collages, drawings, paintings, photography, prints, watercolors, and 3-dimensional works. Submit 1-3 images (JPEGs up to 5MB, minimum 1920 pixels on longest side). Entry fee is $25.00 plus $10 for each additional entry. Participation is open to artists residing in the United States. Entries must be original work recently executed and not previously exhibited at the Brand Library Art Galleries. Source material, including photographs, must be the artist's own. Any work misrepresented by the images submitted may be rejected. Accepted entries may not be removed or substituted before the close of the exhibition. Work must be available between August 7 and November 14, 2015.

Exhibition dates: September 26 through October 30, 2015 at Brand Library Art Galleries, Glendale, CA. Deadline for entries: June 17. Notification of acceptance: July 1. Shipped art due: July 27-August 7. Hand-delivered art due: August 15 (9:00 am to 12:00 pm). Opening and awards reception: September 26. Pick-up of hand-delivered art: October 31 (9:00 am to 12:00 pm). Shipped work returned by: November 14. Framed work should be glazed with plexiglass (no glass) and professionally prepared for hanging. There is no size restriction for hand-delivered work; shipped items including frame may not exceed 48 inches in any direction. Unless specified "NFS," all works will be offered for sale. The Brand Associates take a 25% commission on sales. A prepaid shipping label (UPS only) and $25 handling fee are required for return shipment of shipped works.
