Boulder Open Studios Fall Artist Tour 2014

Boulder Open Studios Fall Artist Tour 2014 is a juried exhibition running October 5-13, 2014. Artists must apply online by April 27, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The entry fee is $35.00.

Applicants must submit 5 images of different artworks completed since 2011 that are representative of work to be shown during Open Studios. The first image submitted will be used on the website and tour map if accepted. Accepted artists' year-round studios must be located within the specified geography shown on the application map. Artists must derive a portion of their income from their art and must have a minimum of 12 pieces to exhibit (6 for labor intensive media). New work is highly encouraged.

Accepted artists must agree to provide an educational component for visitors by demonstrating their creative process and materials or displaying basic steps in completing their work. Artists must be present in their studios during all event hours, wearing a name badge, with settings conducive to public visitation. Artists must have required City, County and State Sales Tax Licenses and collect and pay Sales Taxes. Accepted artists must place one work in a preview exhibition (maximum 40" x 40", exceptions for 3D works). For group studios, participating artists must display prominent signs identifying themselves as Open Studios Participating Artists. For single artist studios, no other artist may display work in the space. All accepted artists must respond to email communication in a timely manner.
