Boulder Art Festival - Pearl Street Mall 2025

The Boulder Art Festival is an annual celebration of creativity, where artists from various disciplines come together to showcase their imaginative works. The festival features both new and emerging artists showcasing the latest trends in handmade goods and fine art, with attendees finding a vast array of artisans and crafters displaying and selling their unique creations. Taking place on the Pearl Street Mall, which is the cultural, retail and social hub of Boulder, the Mall is a four block pedestrian area filled with one of a kind boutiques, nationally recognized restaurants, and entertaining street performers. Set in the center of Downtown Boulder with magnificent views of the beautiful Flatirons and the Colorado Rockies, the historic Pearl Street Mall features numerous restored buildings dating back to the 1880's surrounded by brick paved walkways, mature trees, flower gardens, fountains, and sculptures.

This popular annual event draws large crowds with a high number of enthusiastic, sophisticated and affluent art buyers during the busy Labor Day Holiday weekend. The festival features high quality art, hand crafted goods, local merchants, live music, and provides an outstanding opportunity for artists to exhibit to thousands of interested buyers. All participants must make their own merchandise, with reproductions permitted but no reselling of mass produced items. The event is open to all mediums of art and craft items, and artists may apply in more than one category but must submit separate applications for each medium.

Colorado Events uses a rolling jury process, reviewing applications once every two weeks and continuing to accept vendors until the event is full. The jury is composed of Colorado artists representing various media, and the number of exhibitors in each category is determined by the jury. Requirements include 5 images and a booth shot, with emerging artists accepted. Electricity is available on a limited basis for an additional fee of $15 per day, and all booths must be weighted with no staking allowed.
