Botanical

TAGat120ART invites artists to submit work for the 2021 Botanical competition, a national juried exhibition organized by TAGat120ART, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the unbridled pursuit of creative expression. The theme asks artists to explore botanical life through their chosen visual medium—painting, drawing, photography, or mixed media. The exhibition will be presented as a simultaneous live and online show, hanging in the downtown Taylor, TX gallery at 120 W. 2nd Street through August 28, 2021. Artwork will be separated into two categories: 2D and photography.

All artists 18 years or older working in painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media are invited to submit up to 3 pieces for jury selection. Submit images of your work at 120 dpi to www.artist.callforentry.org no later than midnight, June 17, 2021. Successful entries will be announced by June 22, 2021. Work must be delivered to TAGat120ART, 120 W. 2nd Street, Taylor, TX 76574, no later than July 6, 2021. The artist reception opens at 4pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021, with the show closing Saturday, August 28, 2021. Works not sold during the show will be shipped out at the artist's expense or picked up in person no later than September 1, 2021.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to 3 pieces. Cash prizes will be awarded at the opening reception in each of the 2 categories: 1st prize - $500, 2nd prize - $250, and 3rd prize - a Jerry's Artarama Gift card. Jurors include Lonnie Shan, Marcia Beth Goldenstein, and Liz Hunt.
