Boston Mills Artfest 2027

The 53rd Annual Boston Mills Artfest is a nationally recognized, juried celebration of Fine Art and Contemporary Craft held at Boston Mills Ski Resort in Peninsula, Ohio, set against the backdrop of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The festival attracts talented artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts from across Northeast Ohio and beyond.

Artfest features two exceptional summer weekends, each showcasing up to 150 artists. Boston Mills I (The June Show) runs June 25-27, 2027, with a Friday Night Preview Party from 6:00-9:00 p.m., followed by two days of general admission (10 a.m.-5 p.m.). Boston Mills II (The July Show) runs July 2-4, 2027, beginning Friday at 1:00 p.m. and continuing through July 4th. Both shows feature art, music, wine, and craft beer. A $45.00 nonrefundable application fee is required. Applications are accepted from October 19, 2026, with a deadline of January 15, 2027.

All participating exhibitors are eligible for Artfest awards. Judges will award $7,500 each weekend: three Awards of Excellence ($1,000 each) and eighteen Best in Category awards ($250 each). Award-winning pieces must be displayed in the Awards Gallery for the remainder of the show and must remain for sale. Artists are required to supply their own Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000, naming Boston Mills Artfest as an additional insured. Copies must be emailed to [email protected] prior to set-up. Artists are responsible for transporting artwork and display to their booth (30-200 feet depending on location) using their own dollies or carts. Booth fees are due after acceptance (deadline April 23, 2027). Full refunds available until May 7, 2027; partial refunds (less $200 processing fee) until May 21, 2027; no refunds after May 28, 2027.
