Boston Mills Artfest 2026

Boston Mills is now accepting applications for the 52nd annual 2026 Boston Mills Artfest, a celebration of Fine Art and Contemporary Craft. This nationally recognized juried festival has delighted art lovers for over five decades and is hosted by Boston Mills Ski Resort, a Vail Resort in Peninsula, Ohio, set against the stunning backdrop of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, perfectly located between Cleveland, Akron, and Canton.

Artfest showcases two remarkable weekends of artistic excellence, featuring up to 150 talented artists each weekend. Boston Mills I ("The June Show") runs June 26-28, 2026, and Boston Mills II ("The July Show") runs July 3-5, 2026. Each weekend features a Preview Night Opening Party where art lovers can purchase works while enjoying music, curated wines, craft beers, and hors d'oeuvres. The application fee is $50 nonrefundable, with applications accepted through Zapplication starting October 15, 2025, and the application deadline is January 9, 2026.

Judges will award $7,500 each weekend: three Awards of Excellence ($1,000 each) and eighteen Best in Category awards ($250 each). Award winners are automatically accepted into the following year's show. Applications are accepted in categories including Acrylic Painting, Oil Painting, Watercolor Painting, Drawing, Photography, Computer Art, Glass, Ceramics, Metal, Wood, Furniture, Jewelry, Sculpture, 2D and 3D Mix-Media, Wearable Fiber, Wall Fiber, and Leather. Six images and a booth shot are required for application. Artists must provide liability insurance with minimum $1,000,000 coverage and obtain required vendor permits.
