Boca Raton Museum of Art 61st Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition

The Boca Raton Museum of Art invites artists to submit work for the 61st Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition. The entry deadline is March 16, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The non-refundable entry fee is $35, which allows submission of 1, 2, or 3 artworks. Payment is accepted online by credit card only.

2D artists may submit up to three artworks with one image each. 3D artists may submit up to three artworks with no more than two images per work. Video and time-based artists must include two still images per artwork and send copies of video or sound materials on CD or DVD format to Kelli Bodle, Assistant Curator, Boca Raton Museum of Art, 501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, Florida 33432, postmarked by March 8, 2012. Only original artworks completed after January 1, 2010 and not previously exhibited at the museum are eligible. Artworks must be ready to install; 2D works must have wired or hanging devices already attached. No artworks measuring more than 8 feet in any direction or weighing more than 100 pounds will be accepted without prior written permission. Accepted artists are responsible for all shipping arrangements and expenses. Shipped works must be received by May 21, 2012. Drop-off of accepted works is May 22-23, 2012 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Pick-up is July 9-10, 2012 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Cash awards total $4,000: Best-In-Show ($1,500) and five Merit Awards ($500 each). The exhibition runs May 30 through July 8, 2012.
