BOBBLEHAUS Exhibition - Welcome to our Haus

BOBBLEHAUS is a gen-z creative studio rooted in celebrating the eccentricities within communities, primarily expressing stories through sustainable and genderless fashion designed in New York and handmade in Shanghai. The organization seeks to showcase works of other artists whose missions align with theirs. The 4,000 sqft, two-story flagship store is located at 180 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side in NYC, featuring a 540 sqft white-box activation space on the second floor that can be transformed to fulfill an artist's vision. The entrance features an interactive LED floor with foot tracking for digital artists interested in displaying work in this permanent installation.

The exhibition runs from November 28 to December 19, 2022, and accepts all mediums including drawings, painting, photography, sculpture, printing, digital art, installation art, AR/VR, and interactive installations. Artists may submit ready-to-show work or new site-specific installations. For site-specific installations, proposals must include a description of vision with visuals and written description of creative direction, fabrication, materials, and timeline. Artists are responsible for delivery, installation, de-installation, and removal of work, including labor and hardware. This is a group exhibition featuring emerging artists with all work for sale.

Entry fee is $10.00 with a maximum of 2 applications allowed per artist. Work sample requirements: 1-5 images, 0-2 audio files, 0-3 videos, with a total of 1-8 samples. Applicants must submit an artist statement, portfolio, resume, and proposal. Notifications will be sent November 4, 2022, with potential video call interviews for work still under consideration. BOBBLEHAUS takes a 40% commission on all artwork sales, with payment provided within 30 days after the exhibition closes via pre-agreed payment method. Selected artists receive one artist email feature to 6,000+ subscribers, one Instagram feature (10,400+ followers), and features on Twitter and TikTok. The opportunity is open to international artists.
