Blurring the Lines: Abstraction in Colorado

Arts Longmont Gallery invites Colorado artists who work with abstract or non-objective form to submit entries for a March–April 2018 exhibition. The exhibition will explore how Colorado artists' abstract/non-objective work reflects their vision of the world and unique approaches to line, form and color. Both 2-D and 3-D artists are welcome to submit. All entries will be juried by Collin Parson, Director of Galleries and Curator for the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities.

Entry Requirements: Non-refundable entry fee of $40 for up to 4 images. Images must be cropped, excluding framing and background, and must represent the work exactly. An image list is required and must include title, materials, dimensions, and price. The exhibition is open to all media except video, and original art only. A 40% commission applies to sales. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of art to/from the gallery. Art may be shipped with paid return shipping arranged.

Exhibition Dates: March 9–April 28, 2018. Opening reception and juror's talk: Friday, March 9, 2018, 6–9 pm. Additional reception: Friday, April 13, 2018, 6–9 pm. Drop-off dates at Arts Longmont Gallery, 356 Main St, Longmont CO 80501: Tuesday, February 27, 11am–5pm; Wednesday, February 28, noon–5pm; Thursday, March 1, 1–5pm.
