Blues Cat Art & Music Showcase

We are looking for visual artists to display work inspired by music, live performance, and movement. There is no entry fee. The winners will be decided by jury and one will be selected by public vote. Prizes are as follows: The top 10 pieces will have the opportunity to be displayed at Half Step for a month-long exhibition, the top 5 artists will get a spot in the Renowned Mars Magazine, and the artist who comes in first place will receive a $50 gift card to Jerry's Artarama. The event will be on June 14th, 2026 from 3-10 pm at Half Step (75 1/2 Rainey St, Austin, TX 78701). Applications are due by May 22nd, if accepted you will be notified by May 23rd. Further details about art drop off and promotional materials will be emailed upon acceptance.
