Blue Hour

Blue Hour is an exhibition seeking work that explores transition, liminal space, and metamorphosis. After the spectacle of the sunset and before the promises of sunrise, the world is gradually cloaked in shades of blue—neither night nor day, neither here nor there, but both and.

Any 2-D, 3-D, and digital work will be considered. Submissions must include an artist statement that responds specifically to the call. The entry fee is $30.00, with an early bird discount of $0 entry fee through October 31st using code EarlyBird. Applicants may submit 1-10 images and up to 3 videos (minimum 1 total sample required). The submission deadline is November 14th, with acceptance notification on December 2nd. Artwork must be received by December 19th. The exhibition runs January 16th through March 30th, with a reception on February 11th or February 18th. Everyone is eligible.
