Blue Agave Art Fair 2025

Picture yourself in the Texas Hill Country, selling your art in a truly special intimate setting, out of the weather in a beautiful indoor venue. Located about 35 miles southwest of Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Wimberley is a favorite weekend getaway and/or day trip location for art lovers from Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. This quaint village has gained a national reputation among artists and visitors as an arts destination and is one of just 30 sites in the entire State of Texas to be designated a Cultural District.

Sponsored by the Wimberley Valley Art League's 200+ members and art loving volunteers, the Blue Agave Art Fair will be held November 22-23, 2025 at the state-of-the-art Wimberley Community Center. The fair has no paid staff; all proceeds are dedicated to providing a high level of advertising and promotion to draw a crowd, and operating expenses for artist exhibitors are kept to a minimum. The venue has plenty of onsite parking and great food trucks on site for both artists and patrons. Applications are due September 8, 2025, with a $15 jury fee per medium category.

Standard 8' x 8' booths are $175, with double booths available for $350. All work must be original to and performed by the accepted artist, with no purchased or commercial items allowed. Artists must have a current Texas Sales Tax permit and booths must be manned at all times during fair hours. The fair accepts emerging artists and features 13 media categories including ceramics, digital art, drawings, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.
