Blame the Weather!

This online-only exhibition invites artists to explore their interpretation of winter magic. The theme encourages looking at winter through an optimistic lens—as a time of renewal, new beginnings, and exciting weather that makes us feel alive and connected to nature and the season's cycle. Artists are invited to dig deep and explore what winter magic means to them.

Open to all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art (video excluded). The exhibition is open to all artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.

Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, up to a maximum of 20 images. Submit 1-20 JPEG or JPG format images at 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Awards: First place $300, second place $200, third place $100. Winners will be notified by email by March 1, 2022, with the online gallery opening at that time. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist.
