Black & White Winter

R Gallery, a fine art gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado, is seeking artwork for "Black & White Winter," an exhibition exploring the season's different modes conveyed using mostly black and white and shades of gray tones. Winter can be dark and dreary, cold and bitter, or peaceful and magical.

The exhibition runs November 10 through December 12, 2021. Eligible artists must be Colorado residents, and all entries must be of original design and personal execution. Accepted media includes painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media. Submissions should include 1-20 images. The entry fee is $25.00 with an additional $5.00 media fee.

Accepted works must arrive at least 3 days before the exhibit start date unless otherwise agreed upon. Work will be returned within 2 weeks after the exhibit closes; a prepaid return label must be provided if sending work by carrier. R Gallery handles all sales and charges a 50% commission unless otherwise stated in artist agreements. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be priced at a reasonable rate for the local market. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition and will send checks to artists by the 15th of the month following the sale. Notification of acceptance will be sent October 22. The artists' reception is Friday, November 12, 6pm-8pm.
