About This Call
BLACK & WHITE is an international photography competition open to amateur and professional photographers worldwide. The theme celebrates black and white photography and its ability to challenge perception through form and light. All styles of photography are accepted, including film, digital, alternative process, and iPhone photography. Stills only; video is not eligible. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.
Entry fee is $20 for the first image and $5 for each additional image, with a maximum of 20 images per submission. All images must be submitted in JPEG format with a minimum size of 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi and a maximum file size of 5 MB. Entry deadline is Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Winners will be notified by email on Friday, May 18, 2018.
Awards include First Place ($500), Second Place ($200), and Third Place ($100). All winners will be displayed in the online gallery at www.cultural-center.org. Jurors will make selections by director's choice, and no personal feedback is provided. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.
