About This Call
Black and white photography is timeless—bold contrasts, deep shadows, and striking compositions define this classic medium. Without color, light and shape take center stage, revealing raw emotion and texture in every frame. From the earliest days of photography to modern masterpieces, monochrome images continue to captivate.
Submit 1-5 black and white photographs for consideration. The call is open to all photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional. Entry fee is $40.00. Submission deadline is May 23rd, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Juror Holly Hart is a conceptual fine art photographer and founder of Decode Gallery. Selected works will be exhibited July 5th – July 26th, 2025. Jury dates are May 23rd – June 6th, 2025.
