About This Call
Black and White is an online juried exhibition exploring the dialectic of freedom and restraint arising from the absence of color. The exhibition is open to painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, and video. The exhibition runs July 27 – August 24, 2021.
Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 years of age or older. Only original works may be submitted. Submissions must include 3-8 total samples (0-8 images and 0-3 videos). Entry fee is $25.00 for up to three images, with $10.00 for each additional image. All entry fees are non-refundable. Final submission deadline is June 21, 2021 at 11:59 PM MT. Notification of acceptance will be sent June 30, 2021.
Accepted artists will be required to upload high-resolution photo files of their work. All artwork must be priced for sale and cannot be withdrawn before the end of the exhibit. Site:Brooklyn will retain a 40% commission on all exhibition sales. The juror is Shana Nys Dambrot, an art critic, curator, and author based in Downtown LA. For questions, contact [email protected].
