About This Call
BJ Spoke Gallery's 34th annual competition will be judged by Adrienne Rooney, Curatorial Assistant of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Winners will participate in a one-month show at the gallery in April 2015.
Artists can submit up to 6 images of work. Video artists may submit up to two 10-minute pieces. The gallery will attempt to select several pieces by each artist where size permits. Competition is limited to artists living in the United States.
Acceptable media include: watercolor, drawings, pastels, paintings, sculpture, mixed media, installation art, photography, video, digital art, etchings, monotypes/monoprints, silk screens, lithographs, collagraphs, and fiber art. Entry fee is $35.00. Up to 2 applications are allowed per artist.
