Billboard Creative 2016 Exhibition

The Billboard Creative is an all-volunteer nonprofit that produces public art shows on billboards in Los Angeles. Selected work will be displayed on billboards throughout Los Angeles, viewed on a massive scale by tens of thousands of people on their daily commutes.

The 2016 exhibition is open internationally to all disciplines. Artists may submit work in any medium that can be converted to a digital file, including paintings, sculptures, and mixed media. Video and audio works are not accepted. Submissions must include 1-6 images. The entry fee is $27 for the first image and $7.00 for each additional image. If your work is selected, The Billboard Creative covers all expenses for production, mounting, and leasing of the billboard. Not all submissions will receive a billboard. After submissions close, curator Mona Kuhn will select the pieces included in the exhibit.

Eligibility is open to all artists, domestic and international. Artists under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian submit their work. The Billboard Creative retains no rights to submitted images and will not use them for any commercial purpose outside the terms of the Billboard show and publicity for The Billboard Creative and its shows.
