Bike Art at the Dairy

The Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder, Colorado presents a juried exhibition celebrating Boulder's bicycle culture. Art in all mediums will be considered, including images of bicycles and bicycle events, art made from bicycle parts, and other bicycle-related work. All submissions will be judged based on creativity, originality, and execution.

Eligibility is open to all living artists from the United States. Artists may submit one to five pieces for a $25 entry fee. Work samples should include one or two digital images per artwork (one may be a detail image). Wall art must not exceed 35 pounds in weight. Three-dimensional work must not exceed 250 pounds in weight or 84 inches in height or width. All selected works must be available for the entire exhibition run and must not be sold before the exhibit closes.

Cash awards ranging from $100 to $500 and one purchase award will be made. The exhibition runs March 9-30, 2012. Accepted artworks must be delivered by March 6, 2012. Artists will be notified by February 22, 2012. The jury consists of members of The Dairy's Visual Arts Committee, including artists, fine art and architecture faculty from the University of Colorado, and art collectors from the Boulder area.
