About This Call
Biafarin Awards 2022 is an annual international art awards program open to visual artists working in any medium worldwide. The program offers over USD 10,000 in cash grants and prizes, along with publication, exhibition, and promotion opportunities. Submission is free, with a fixed USD 50 fee applying to selected artists only.
Artists may submit up to 5 original artworks in any medium, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital arts, sculpture, installation, metalsmithing, decorative arts, mixed media, collage, crafts, fiber art, textile art, book art, land art, landscape, and design. There is no size limit for submitted artworks. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred. Artists must own all rights to their submitted work and the work must be entirely their own, executed without instructor supervision.
Selected artists receive: USD 1,000 cash grants (3 artists), annual artist promotion packages (Gold and Blue, 3 artists each), publication in The Book of Arts series, inclusion in an international online group exhibition (December 20, 2022 - January 20, 2023), promotion for artwork sales, publication in an exhibition catalogue, digital promotional badges, and digital certificates. All selected artworks will be exhibited online for 1 month and promoted globally through popular publication gateways to thousands of readers, including experts, galleries, curators, and art enthusiasts.
