BGSU 2025 Undergraduate Exhibition

The BGSU School of Art invites all eligible undergraduate art students to submit work produced in courses taken at the School of Art for the 2025 Undergraduate Student Art Exhibition. This exhibition is open to all first year, sophomore and junior students formally admitted to BGSU in a School of Art degree-seeking program. Art students exhibiting in the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 BFA Exhibition are not eligible. Students may enter work not previously shown at BGSU, made in an art course under the supervision of a BGSU School of Art faculty member. Long-term projects or works-in-progress will not be shown.

Applicants may submit up to five total artworks, with a maximum of three entries per category. Each artwork requires a separate entry and category selection. Work samples may include images, audio, or video (up to one of each). Submissions are made through the CaFÉ platform. For Animation/Video/Interactive work, upload an image or screenshot with a URL link to Vimeo, YouTube, or a high-resolution folder of files included in the description.

The exhibition runs from February 2 through February 18, 2025. Accepted artwork must remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition. Artwork may be for sale, with the gallery receiving a 20% commission. Artwork in this exhibition is not insured, and BGSU Fine Arts Galleries, School of Art and all its affiliates will not be responsible for loss of or damage to submitted and/or exhibited works. Work in this exhibition may be photographed to publicize the exhibition, promote the School of Art, and/or promote the sponsorship program. Faculty and invited jurors will have full discretion in selecting student work for inclusion and/or awards.
