Beyond 2D Spark Juried Sculpture Show

This juried sculpture exhibition is open to Colorado and regional artists. The show is limited to sculpture only, including pedestal, freestanding, kinetic, or wall relief work. Ceiling suspended work, paintings, photographs, and other two-dimensional work will not be accepted. The juror is Denver sculptor Mark Friday, who will base selections on creativity, quality, and originality.

Applicants may submit up to two entries, each with 2-3 images (including front and side views). The entry fee is $35.00 per application. Work must have been completed within the last 3 years. Wall pieces are limited to 4' x 4' wall space with a 50 lb. weight limit. Freestanding sculptures are limited to 3' x 3' floor space and 7' height maximum. Assorted sized pedestals will be available. Art must be hand delivered to Spark Gallery, 900 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, assembled and ready to exhibit, or assembled by the artist at time of delivery. Wall pieces must have proper hanging hardware. All accepted work must remain installed for the duration of the exhibition.

Entry deadline is July 17, 2022. Jury selection occurs July 18-25, with notification on July 27. Artwork delivery is August 7 (6:00-8:00 p.m.) and August 8 (2:00-7:00 p.m.). The show opens August 11, with an opening reception on August 20 (12:00-5:00 p.m.). Artwork pickup is August 28-29 (4:00-7:00 p.m.). Spark Gallery will assist with sales of accepted work.
